Our Mission

Tejas Management Systems has been providing quality services to persons with intellectual and other disabilities since 1985. We are committed to providing consumer driven, Home and Community-based Services (HCS) and Texas Home Living (TxHmL) services that enrich the lives of individuals living in community settings.

To our individuals and families

We commit to offering individualized services designed to support their efforts to avoid institutionalization; remain with or near their families; enjoy full participation in the life of their community; share in the same rights, freedoms, and responsibilities as their fellow citizens; and exercise personal choices that result in lives of dignity, self-determination, and increased independence.

To our staff and providers

We commit to providing a professional and positive work environment; training opportunities to enhance skills, knowledge, and growth; fair and equitable employment and contractor practices; and a culture that values excellence, integrity, honesty, and accountability.

Our Values

We commit to administering, delivering, and documenting our services in good faith and with integrity, as well as complying with federal, state, and local laws and the principles and standards of certifying agencies. In our dealings with individuals, families, vendors, the community, other staff members, and colleagues, we commit to conduct that is fair, compassionate, respectful, professional, and responsive.
